New Exhibition! 'Put A Lid On It' Belger Art Gallery, Kansas city, missouri, USA

The Belger Arts Center in Kansas City is holding an exhibition titled "Put a Lid on It," encouraging artists to create artworks, considering the literal and symbolic meanings of what is contained or hidden within lidded vessels and covered dishes.

I have been invited to exhibit two artworks, 'The Potter's Studio', a painting taken from sketches of Bonchurch Pottery, Isle of Wight and 'The Cupboard full of Memories', a painting from a view in a corner of a local antiques shop. The exhibition will open on October 3, 2025, at Belger Crane Yard Studios in Kansas City, Missouri and run through December 31, 2025. Artworks will be for sale. I will post a few photographs of the exhibition once open to the public.
