PROJECTS

THE HEIDELBERG PROJECT, DETROIT, USA (- ongoing)

At present I am working with The Heidelberg Project, Detroit, USA - producing a number of artworks based on the open art exhibition which will be turned into a range of merchandise for their next phase of development. This will involve the creation of 12-15 house paintings, which I hope to exhibit on site at a later date.

The Heidelberg Project in Detroit was started by artist Tyree Guyton in 1986 as a response to the decay and neglect of his childhood neighborhood on Heidelberg Street. Inspired by his grandfather, who prompted Guyton to 'pick up a paintbrush not a weapon' upon his return from the army, he transformed abandoned houses and vacant lots into art installations using discarded materials, found objects, and vibrant colours. The project aimed to revitalise the area, raise awareness about urban blight, and inspire community engagement through art.

With over 250,000 visitors from across the globe each year, The Heidelberg Project is a testament to inclusion, progress, and an optimistic vision for the future.

PEER STUDIOS, VENTNOR, ISLE OF WIGHT (- ongoing)

Here, you can explore a collection of my artworks, many of which are inspired by the stunning island landscapes and the charming town of Ventnor. I regularly update the gallery with new pieces so there's always something fresh to discover - these particular artworks are also displayed in the 'Shop' online. If you see something you love, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to arrange direct shipping to you or deliver if you are island based!
